Robotics Tasmania aims to encourage and support interest and activities in robotics and artificial intelligence. With the assistance of its sponsors and supporters, Robotics Tasmania manages annual competitions and conducts educational seminars.
The competitions we hold annually are open to students and include:
· The Tasmania State RoboCup Junior competition and regional RoboCup Junior events, held in July and August each year.
· First Lego League State Finals held in November of each year.
· We also plan to host the 2011 The Australian Open RoboCup Junior competition.
Seminars are hosted for the general public on Robotics topics of general interest as part of the “Robotics in the club” program.
Additionally, presentations and workshops are hosted for educators who are interested in teaching robotics or mentoring robotics teams.
